Subject: Getting started with LotusScript
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Not applicable

Hi there,

I'm looking to speed up some of my time in my email client Lotus Notes. I am looking to get started in developing my own features.

What development package should I get started in to do this?

The first 'feature' I want to develop is to extend the functionality of automatically creating folders for new mail based on the subject line.

Currently, the 'QuickRule' feature requires manual specification - the user has to manually nominate the 'condition' and the 'action' to perform. I want to eliminate the requirement of manual specification through develop of a script that automatically creates a new folders, then automatically creates new QuickRules to move the mail.

Any direction and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
Jordan
